Idiocracy of the day

So I was driving to work this morning and on the radio I heard one of those commercials for the local news at 8 or 6 or whatever with some extra sensationalism. It made me laugh so that was good but it also makes me hate the general Ideal of the evening news anymore. The headline for Fox news this morning was "Are your children in danger for being in Marching Band?" Yeah I know funny right danger and marching band in the same phrase. See you thought your geeky kid was OK playing his flute and walking on the football field but he is in grave danger. He might loose his hearing from all that loud noise that the instruments make. I mean seriously most people were probably listening to the radio louder than the music on the field. Things like this just make my blood boil sometimes. Please let our kids have fun be kids don't protect them from everything. Let the kids use rope swings, jump into large pools of water, go skiing, play sports. Yes they ARE going to get hurt but that's part of being a kid. This is what is wrong with our society keeping your kid locked up in their room playing video games cause the real world is too dangerous. I say let em live be kids have fun experience life grow up and be good citizens who will treat their children the same and maybe just maybe The United States Of America might start acting like what the USA should and do things for itself fixing problems instead of complaining about them and not be all PC and the laughing stock of the civilized world for all of our problems.

First Things Second

FYI, I am a horrendous speller. I believe the last time I was tested my spelling was on a 5th grade level this is mildly interesting due to the fact that I love reading, my grammar and vocabulary are very good and I scored exceptionally well on my verbal SAT's back in the day(997 ish). luckily the blog has spell check so you will not have to float through some of the really bad words however, I am sure I will leave them in occasionally. So with that being said I do know that I cannot spell so in the future if you fell you must point it out i will understand but my spelling has not gotten better in the last 10 years so it is unlikely to improve due to someones ferocious comments and criticisms. My opinions on the other hand change daily and are sometimes as outrageous as my spelling. Please feel free to comment on these both good and bad its like constructive criticism on your point of view.

Formality

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
